PLEASE AVOID HIGHWAY RJ-165 (PARATY-CUNHA)

Highway RJ-165 is one of the options to get to Paraty. If you travel by car, the GPS route will take you through the town of Cunha. However, this highway is in very bad condition and presents serious danger to drivers.

A safer alternative to reach Paraty is the route via HIGHWAY SP-099 (TAMOIOS), going through the town of Caraguatatuba. You can check the complete route in Google maps.
