The clean Blue Forest Café offers lunch, dinners and bar snacks at very affordable prices, even BBQ's on the Garden Bar deck! Daily blackboard specials provide good, inexpensive meals. The CDB Cafe on the Ground Floor serves all-day breakfast as well as a full lunchtime menu.

Travel information

Travel from Auckland airport: Taxi from airport (about NZ$ 45, 30 minutes). Airbus which leaves every 20 minutes from between 6a.m. and 8p.m. which costs $13 per person. Super shuttle is available 24 hours from $14 per person if you call from their free phone located next to the Visitor information centre.

Travel from railway station: Taxi from train station (about NZ$ 8, 5 minutes).
