We are located in the sunny town of Bundaberg which is situated four hours north from Brisbane, and 3 hours south of Rockhampton

How to find us!

By car: When coming from the south (Childers or Bundaberg Airport) you pass through four sets of traffic lights and we are on the left hand side opposite the road from a 5 star Handimarket.

Coming from the North (Gin Gin or Agnes Waters) you come to a round-about follow the signs to Childers when you come to a set of traffic lights near Hungry Jacks you keep travelling about 1km, we are on the right hand side opposite the 5 star Handimarket on the left.

By air: Located only 5 minutes from the airport. Qantaslink provides several flights daily from Brisbane direct to Bundaberg (flight time approximately 1 hour). Taxi's available from airport.

By train: Located only 5 minutes from the train station. Queensland Rail provides northern services from Brisbane, and southern services from Cairns and Rockhampton (approximate travel time between 3 and 5 hours). Taxi's available from station.

The Country Comfort Bundaberg International provides an excellent base for visiting our regions many attractions. One of the most popular activities on our beautiful coastline is a visit to Lady Elliot and Lady Musgrave Islands.
Lady Elliot Island - the first coral isles on the Reef - is just a 25 minute scenic flight from Bundaberg Airport. Fly there for a day or stay longer at the Eco-resort for a totally relaxing holiday.
Lady Musgrave Island boasts a unique combination of coral isle and the largest navigable lagoon on the entire Reef - and what a lagoon - around 1200 hectares!

Visitors are fascinated by the island's fauna, flora and overall tranquil ambience. Day cruises allow plenty of time to view the reef and marine life - the adventurous can even obtain a camping permit and stay overnight. Tours can be arranged by our tour desk, transfers available by arrangement.
Another well-loved eco attraction is the Mon Repos Turtle Rookery. Each summer, tourists and locals can visit the beautiful beach and watch turtles lay their eggs at night, and see turtle hatchlings as they run down the beach to the water.


Bundaberg is well-known for its spirit - the famous Bundaberg Rum. The Bundaberg Rum Distillery runs tours at its award winning visitor centre daily.


The Country Comfort Bundaberg International is approximately 5 minutes from the Airport, Tilt Train and the CBD. Bucca Weir rowing facility is approximately 25 minutes from the Motor Inn with quality waterski facilities at Sandy Hook a short drive away.
