To become a boutique hotel, Château Cartier is undergoing a facelift and, before the end of 2008, will offer 35 new sumptuous rooms and 90 luxury suites. As a result of the renovations, you have the option of choosing between our boutique hotel units, which are newly renovated, or our classic rooms and suites, which will be renovated shortly and are currently offered at reduced rates.

Château Cartier’s restaurant will also be undergoing top-to-bottom renovations.

The décor, while fresh and new, will still retain the pleasant, relaxed atmosphere for which it is known. Here you’ll find a bar, open kitchen and an even more remarkable wine list… with true hidden treasures tucked away in a wine cellar accessible directly from the dining room.

The restaurant will also host a cocktail hour from 5 to 7 and will continue to offer delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners at prices that are as appealing as ever, to be enjoyed in the dining room or in the comfort of your room. Give in to the temptation of the evening’s table-d’hôte, composed of a vast selection of grilled meat and seafood selections, the maple wood fire on which they’re cooked giving them their unique flavour.

The restaurant also has at your disposal two lounges that can host 40 to 90 guests, and elaborate group menus designed by our chef.

Bordered by groves of trees and on the banks of the Ottawa River, Château Cartier’s 18-hole golf course has been crowned “number 1 Downtown Golf Resort in Canada” by Golf Canada. The entire course offers a breathtaking view of the Champlain Bridge and the rapids as well as the majestic Parliament Buildings and the Peace Tower.

Please note that renovations are taking place from March 26, 2012 until May 31, 2012. As a result, the swimming pool and spa are unavailable during this period. (The fitness centre and sauna will not be affected as a result of this work).
