The Bani Yas tribes founded modern Abu Dhabi in the 1700’s, but the emirate’s history dates back to the third century BC, when nomads roamed the land. Mere minutes from Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi are the Al Hosn Palace and the Heritage Village, where visitors can discover a rich and varied past.

Airport pick-up can also be arranged from Dubai International Airport. Special Airport Taxis are used that charge by meter.
