The Plough Inn at Wigglesworth

This charming country inn, dating from the 1720’s, offers comfortable cottage style en suite bedrooms, many with original oak beamed roofs.

The inn has 2 restaurants, the Conservatory Restaurant and the Oak Room. The Conservatory Restaurant offers spectacular views of the hills, limestone scars and stone walls. On a clear day, Pen-y-Ghent and Ingleborough of the Three Peaks can be seen from your table. The restaurant specialises in dishes that use produce from the fields of local farmers. A wide range of cuisine is offered, from traditional pub meals, gluten-free and vegetarian options to a gourmet sausage menu.

Relax by the open fire of the cosy Shoehorn Bar, where you can taste traditional Yorkshire hand-pulled ales and fine wines from around the world.

The inn has a large car park. For fine days there are plenty of tables at the front and in the garden.

The Plough Inn offers a choice of 9 en suite bedrooms, some of them featuring original 300 year old oak beams. The rooms are decorated in a traditional country cottage style. Colourful bedspreads, lots of pictures on the walls and many knick-knacks around the rooms contribute to a warm, cosy feel.

Two of the rooms are located on the ground floor and are wheelchair accessible.
