All rooms in the hotel are modern and comfortable with en-suite facilities. All bathrooms are fitted with either shower only or a shower and bath. Many rooms have a large, walk-in shower.

Food & beverage
El Castano, voted best Tapas Bar in Newcastle 2009 (Lifestyle magazine), is located on the ground floor of the hotel. The popular Spanish restaurant serves a wide range of authentic tapas (10% discount for hotel guests). There is an adjoining cocktail lounge and heated outdoor terraces for al fresco dining in summer.

Area information
A short walk from the hotel is the commercial area of Jesmond, with a local supermarket and pharmacy. The city and Metrocentre offer some of the best shopping in the country. The Metro Centre is signposted all the way from the hotel and is around a 20 minute drive.
In the new Quayside development, you will find the Baltic Art Gallery (free entry) and stunning Millennium Bridge. City centre attractions include the Theatre Royal and Northern Stage.
