Exit the A1 at Chester le Street Junction 63, and take the A693 to Stanley. At roundabout exit for A6076 to Gateshead. The hotel is 2 miles on the right hand side, behind the Causey Arch Public House.

If coming from Scotland join the A1 South when sign-posted. Following the A1, cross over the River Tyne. Take slip road sign-posted A692 Consett, continue on this road for 2 miles until you come into Sunniside.
