Edinburgh Minto Hotel is situated in the genteel suburb of Newington, to the south of Princes Street and in the lee of Arthur's Seat. There is easy access to the city centre by foot, bus or taxi, and the hotel is convenient for Princes Street, the Royal Mile, Edinburgh University and the many culturally diverse attractions that Scotland’s capital has to offer.

The hotel is approximately 12.5 miles (20 km) from Edinburgh Airport. Taxis are readily available from just outside the airport, or you can take advantage of the hotel's excellent public transport links.
By Bus
From the airport:
The bus ride from the airport into the city centre takes approximately 20 minutes. From here, simply jump on the number 3, 31, 37 or 47 bus which stop at the bus stop directly outside the hotel.
By Train:
Waverly train station is a 5 minute taxi ride from the hotel.
