The Nicolson Apartments are in the centre of Edinburgh's Old Town, 700 metres from the Royal Mile. Edinburgh Castle and the shops of Princes Street are less than a mile from the building.

The large apartments have living/seating areas, modern bathrooms and kitchen areas. Crockery and cutlery are supplied, and cots and high chairs are available on request.

Each apartment also has a tiled, modern bathroom. Bed linen and soft, fluffy towels are provided.

Room information

Every room includes a fully fitted kitchen and has all integrated appliances. Whilst some apartments have the added security of a higher position within the building, you can expect a few stairs as there are no lifts.

Area information

The apartments are a short walk from the Royal Mile, with Edinburgh Castle at one end and Holyrood Palace at the other end. Princes Street is also close by, the city's shopping hub, that also offers galleries and museums to explore, including the National Gallery of Scotland which houses art from Renaissance to Post-impressionist periods. Wander through Princes Street gardens, and visit the various surrounding bars and restaurants.

Travel information

From Edinburgh city centre:
- Apartment are only a few minutes walk from Princess Street and Waverly Station.
- From the east end of Princes Street, turn right onto North Bridge and continue through South Bridge to Nicolson Street. West Nicolson Street is on the right.

Important information

Nicolson Apartments do not have an office on site at the apartments' location. To check in, you must go to the office at 375 High Street, Edinburgh, EH1 1PW. This office is open from 09:30 until 20:00.

If you are arriving after 20:00, you must contact Nicolson Apartments to make other arrangements.
