The Waterfront Cafe is located within the main reception area and offers a great selection of paninis, soup, sandwiches and toasties. Hot and cold drinks and Wi-Fi are also available, as well as indoor and outdoor seating.

Breakfast is available on Saturday and Sunday mornings. The breakfast menu includes a range of options, including a full cooked breakfast. Costs vary.

By Car:
From Waverly Bridge:
- Cross diagonally right over Princes Street onto South St Andrew Street.
- Take a left onto St Andrew Square and then take the first right.
- Follow St Andrew Square down take the second right onto Queen Street.
- From Queen Street head along to York Place.
- At traffic signals continue forward until you reach Picardy Place roundabout; turn left (first exit).
- Head down past The Edinburgh Playhouse (on your right) until you reach another roundabout; go straight over the roundabout (first exit).
- Follow Leith Walk until the road forks. At these traffic signals turn left onto Great Junction Street (A901).
- At the traffic signals, continue forward onto the A901 (signposted Berwick upon Tweed).
- Follow the road until you reach a roundabout and take the second exit, following signs for ‘The Western Harbour Development’, ‘The Element’ and ‘The Next Generation Gym’.
- Follow this road until you reach the last block on the left, Western Harbour Midway.
- Turn left and follow the road right down to the water, the reception is located on the right-hand side at the Waterfront Cafe.

Hot-el-apartments will add an additional cost to payments made by credit card.

Hot-el-apartments will pre-authorise your card up to a maximum of GBP 200 per apartment before arrival. If using a maestro, solo or visa electron card, a pre-authorisation will be required at check-in.

Reception is on the ground floor in the Waterfront Cafe. This is where you check in and pick up your keys. Late check-in is available with an on-call service via the main office number after 20:00.

Apartments can be arranged with double or twin beds. Please make requests at the time of booking.

Extra beds requested are sofa beds.

At check-in, a valid driver's license or passport will be required to be shown from the person who is the lead guest on the booking
