All rooms are en suite and double glazed to ensure a peaceful night's sleep.
On arrival you will be given your own front door key. The house does not restrict access to the rooms, but they do depend on guests not abusing this facility.

Food & beverage
Breakfast is served in the lovely conservatory. Bright and welcoming, even on the dullest days, here you can enjoy a good selection of cooked breakfasts. Toast and cereals are also available.
Area information
The Tollcross area provides all amenities you may require, including cinemas (independent and main stream), more than one theatre, leisure centres and ten-pin bowling. You can also enjoy the vast park area nearby, The Meadows, which is a great place to relax, play tennis or, occasionally, visit the local festivals.
The house is on a good bus route for further afield attractions such as Roslyn Chapel, Portobello Beach, Cramond and its island, and also the Britannia and The Botanic gardens.
The area is particularly great for eating out, so at the end of a long day sight seeing, it's good to know you will have a vast choice of places to eat at all different prices to suit your budget.

Only guests checked into the guest house may sleep there. Guests cannot allow others to stay in their room overnight.
Rooms are cleaned between 10:00 and 15:00.
If you arrive after 21:00, Balmore House will add an additional cost to your bill.

| Cancellation Policy: | Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 42 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 28 days before date of arrival, 10 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, the total price of the reservation will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
