By Car (from the A1(M)):
- Leave the A1(M) at junction 62 and take the A690 westbound towards Durham city centre.
- After the second roundabout, stay on the A690 and take an immediate left turn after passing under the bridge onto Walkergate (one-way street).
- Follow the road round under the bridge.
- The hotel is located on the right-hand side.

Due to the hotel's city centre location, there is potential noise from the adjacent bars. However, the bedrooms are insulated to minimise noise.
