Traditional Afternoon Tea is served daily in the relaxing surroundings of the hotel's lounge. We serve a mouthwatering selection of finger sandwiched, classic scones with clotted cream, chocolate eclairs, Eton mess, strawberry tart and a delicious selection of Twinings teas.
Traditional Sunday Lunch is served between 12.30pm and 3.00pm from a table d'hote menu in our County Restuarant.

- The hotel is about 30 minutes’ drive (20 miles/32 km) away from the airport.
- Head towards the A1 and follow signs for Durham.
- Take the A690 into the city centre.
- Continue over the first roundabout.
- Turn left at the second roundabout and then turn left at the traffic lights.
- The hotel is on the left.
Durham city centre is pedestrianised and best explored on foot. A car would be useful for trips out of town.
By Air:
