Beaumont House

Built in 1850, the 5-star Beaumont House has a spacious garden, elegant rooms and free parking. Cheltenham town centre and the fashionable Montpellier district are 15 minutes’ walk away.

Bedrooms at Beaumont House are beautifully designed and have free internet access and flat-screen TV with Sky Sports. All rooms come with luxury Hypnos mattresses. Asia and Africa themed rooms as well as luxury rooms receive fresh fruit daily and hand-crafted chocolates on arrival.

Award-winning, freshly cooked breakfasts are served each morning. There is a stunning lounge with a Trust Bar and in the conservatory, guests can enjoy free self-serve tea, coffee, cappuccino and biscuits.

Beaumont House was built in the 1850s Regency period as a private house/villa. It was converted to a hotel in the 1980s. It is set in beautiful gardens, where drinks may be enjoyed on summer evenings. Our comfortable lounge is the perfect place to relax with a good novel, enjoy either a complimentary cappuccino, or a drink from our Trust Bar (sorry, not complimentary!), before going out for dinner.

There are excellent restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.

Newly opened in February 2007 is the Prestbury Suite. This consists of the Luxury Single and the Luxury Superking / Twin En Suite, with whirlpool and bathroom TV.

The suite has a private lobby giving access to the 2 rooms that make up the suite. To book the Prestbury Suite online, please select both these room choices for the dates that you require. As both rooms can be booked individually, one or both may not be available for your selected dates.

A full English breakfast is served between 07:30 and 09:15 on weekdays, or between 08:00 and 10.15 on Saturdays and Sundays.

On 25, 26 December and 01 January 2008, a substantial continental breakfast is served.

An evening meal room service is available from Monday to Thursday, served between 17:30 and 20:00.

The hotel is situated on the a46 Shurdington Road, which is the extension of Bath Road. From Oxford on the a40, look for the sign of the a46 Stroud & Shurdington. At the roundabout in Bath Road, take the right hand road at the Norwood Arms Pub. The hotel is 200 yards on the left after the pub, before the traffic lights. From the m5, take exit 11 and follow signs to Cheltenham. At the first roundabout (Golden Valley) exit roundabout at 2 o'clock towards Shurdington. Go over several little roundabouts, always following the signs to Shurdington. Ignore all signs for Cheltenham. Eventually on a straight road, you will go past Morrisons supermarket on your left. On the next T- junction/roundabout follow the sign to Cheltenham. After one mile, and passing through pedestrian lights, you will reach traffic lights at a crossroad junction, go straight over and the hotel is the fourth property on your right.

Group Bookings:
For bookings of 4 rooms or more, different payment and cancellation policies apply.

Different Cancellation Policies:
For bookings during Cheltenham Racecourse events, a GBP 100 deposit will be charged by Beaumont House. The remainder will be charged at least 30 days before arrival.

Minimum Stay:
On Saturdays and during special events, a minimum-stay policy applies. Any amendments to your stay must follow this policy.

Additional Child Policy Information:
Children over the age of 10 are welcome during the week. Children of any age are welcome at weekends.

Please note there is no housekeeping service over Christmas.

For guests staying over the Christmas and New Year period, only a continental, self-service breakfast will be available.
