Travel information

By Car:
- From M5: exit the M5 at junction 19 (Gordano Services) and follow heritage signs to the Clifton Suspension Bridge (toll bridge).
- Go over the suspension bridge (you will need 50p in silver - no 5ps) and carry straight on until reaching a mini roundabout.
- Turn right at the roundabout onto Clifton Down road and take the 2nd left onto Merchants road.
- Follow the road around Victoria Square and down Queens road.
- At the double roundabout take the 2nd left into St Paul's road. You will find the Washington Hotel 200 metres to your right.

From the airport:
- Depart on Northside Road and turn right.
- Continue along North Side Road and take the 1st exit at roundabout.
- Take the 1st exit at roundabout onto the A38, then turn left onto the A3029, Winberstoke Road.
- Turn left onto A370 (Brunel Way) and continue straight ahead onto the A3029 (Bristol Gate) and bear right onto the A4 (Hotwell Road).
- Turn left onto Clifton Vale, then turn right onto Goldney Avenue.
- Bear right onto Lower Clifton Hill and turn left onto Clifton Rd.
- Continue straight ahead onto Richmond Terrace, then turn right onto the B3129 (Queens Road).
- Turn left onto St Pauls Road.
