Set on Ayr's seafront, the hotel has been owned by the same Meikle family for almost 30 years now and in their time have made many improvements.

The Gallery function room is ideal for weddings or private parties, catering up to 150 covers with views across the water to the Isle of Arran. The hotel can also cater for seminars in the 2 meeting rooms, again for up to 150 covers.

The hotel provides first-class en suite, budget accommodation, which is newly refurbished. The family rooms are well suited for children and, if desired, the hotel can provide a high chair and cot. The ground floor rooms, suitable for the elderly or disabled, may also be booked on request.

Vista Bar & Restaurant boasts panoramic views over the Clyde, to the Isle of Arran. There is an excellent menu, made with fresh local produce and a choice of gourmet dinners, snacks or suppers. The bar has a wide range of wines and spirits.
