During your stay you can enjoy strolls along the banks of the River Nent, wander round the cobbled lanes of nearby Alston or walk up to several vantage points, where the whole valley is spread out below you.

Nent Hall has undergone an extensive refurbishment in recent years and now offers a traditional country house experience in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

The Coach House Inn offers home cooked local food in a cosy environment with an open log fire and relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant provides a fine dining experience in fantastic surroundings with views of the Nent Valley.

There are 2 comfortable lounges with open fires and extensive gardens and grounds to explore so guests can make themselves at home during what is promised to be a relaxing stay.

All of the rooms are non-smoking and have tv/dvd, hostess tray and all of the usual hotel amenities. All rooms are en suite.

Laundry and ironing facilities are available on request from reception.

All tariffs for rooms include free local and national telephone calls and free dvd rental, available from reception.

Nent Hall has 2 dining options for guests: the informal environment of the Coach House Inn, or the fine-dining restaurant within the hotel. The restaurant is open from Thursday-Saturday in off-peak season, and every day except Sunday during peak season. The Coach House serves breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week.

From A1 (junction 58) onto the A68, then the A689, Nent Hall is two miles past Nent Head on the left. Leave th M6 at Penrith onto the A686 to Alston, then the A689, Nent Hall is 1.5 miles on the right.

Please note that from the 28 February to 1 March, the hotel will not be offering lunch or evening meals in the restaurant or bar. Breakfast will be served as normal and staff will be happy to help guests make dinner reservations elsewhere. The management would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
