The Marine Hotel has a variety of bedrooms available - from comfortable single rooms to our family rooms with a double bed and two singles, additional cots and beds can be added, if required. We also have two bedrooms especially designed for our disabled guests with a walk in shower. The main entrance to the hotel is easily accessible, as are allpublic areas on the ground floor - where no steps hinder passage - and with a lift to all floors; our hotel is easily accessible to everyone.
We also have bedrooms where guests may stay with their well behaved pet - please enquire for more details! As an extra treat to all of our guests our gym and leisure suite is available free of charge and includes Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room for the ultimate in a relaxing break away.

Aberystwyth town itself is a vibrant mix of old and new. The castle, now in ruins, dominates the seafront. Though Aberystwyth Castle was built in 1277, the area has hosted other castles before it, the earliest settlers were iron age who built a fortress, which can still be seen in Pen Dinas overlooking south beach. The town has since become and academic and cultural center with the University and the National Library of Wales – an important resource library for those interested in genealogy and tracing family history.
There are many other interesting towns and villages within a short drive, and Aberystwyth is served by a mainline railway linking us to the North and East. Every effort has been made to provide you with a comfortable, contemporary base as you explore all Ceredigion has to offer.

The Marine Hotel is situated on the sea front in Marine Terrace, Aberystwyth. The town is served by national bus services and British Rail. The hotel is approximately a ten minute walk from the train station.
If approaching by car from the east, head for the A470, either through Newtown from the northwest or Builth Wells from the South West. At Llangurig, take the A44 which will lead you all the way to Aberystwyth where you then follow the signs to the town centre and the sea front. Marine Terrace is the main promenade road to your right when facing the sea.

If approaching from the north or south along the coast road, just follow the A487 to take you into the centre of Aberystwyth.
