Pay a visit to nearby Myndos Gate, which dates back to 364 BC. Just a short drive away, the ruins of the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, one of the Wonders of the Ancient World, are a must-see. Bodrum Castle is only 3km from the hotel and is an impressive example of medieval architecture. Today, it is home to a museum with an underwater archeology exhibit.
