In our historical dining-room our head chef and his team will spoil you with seasonal gourmet dinners, buffets or with a candle light dinner.
Opening hours for the restaurant:
Summer: 07:00 to 10:00 and 19:00 to 21:00
Winter: 07:00 to 10:30 and 19:30 to 21:30
The Montrose Bar with its Scottish character is well known for fine cocktails and drinks. In summer you will also be served in the garde where you can enjoy a view of the Matterhorn.

Winter: from 17:00 (December and January from 16:00)

Travel information
By car:
- The journey from Zurich takes 4 hours and from Geneva or Milan 31/2 hours.
- You cannot reach Zermatt by car. You must leave your vehicle in Täsch, a village 5 km from Zermatt, then:
- Leave the public open-air car park and from there take the shuttle train to Zermatt from Täsch railway station (departures every 20 minutes; last train leaves Täsch at 23:30).
The village of Täsch (5 km outside of Zermatt) is your final destination. We should be glad to reserve a covered parking space (winter CHF 18 per night, summer CHF 15 ) for you at the Welcome Parking of the Seiler Hotels and the Riffelalp Resort.
Our staff will take care of your luggage and organize for you the transfer to your hotel from Täsch, either by special taxi or train. Please contact the hotel beforehand.
By train:
The journey from Zurich Kloten airport takes 5 hours, from Geneva Cointrin or Milan 3 half to 4 hours and from Sitten/Sion 1and a half hours.
- From Geneva, change in Visp or Brig (not all direct trains stop in Visp).
- From Basel, Zurich, Bern or Milan, change in Brig.
- From Chur or St Moritz the Glacier-Express train will bring you directly to Zermatt.

Meal Plan: Continental breakfast is included in the room rate. Half board is not included and costs CHF 55.00 per person. Half board costs CHF 35.00 per child under 12 years. Parking: Private parking is possible at a location nearby (reservation is needed) and costs CHF 18.00 per day. Pets: Pets are allowed. Charges may be applicable.
