Our hotel is located in the heart of Zermatt, from where you can reach the train station, all mountain railways and lifts, as well as countless attractive shops within minutes. Yet as the hotel is located slightly off the main streets, you can still enjoy the characteristic silence of the mountains. Exceptionally large rooms make you feel at home, and our friendly hotel team is eager to fulfill your wishes.

One of the few four-star hotels in Zermatt, the Hotel Simi boasts exceptionally large rooms ranging between 16m² and 43m² in size, including the bathroom. Wellness showers have been fitted into some of our generous bathrooms, and some bathrooms contain an additional toilet.

The Bergrestaurant Simi at Furi, located at 1800 meters above sea level, was built and opened in 1967 by Renate and Simon Biner. Today, almost 40 years later, guests still receive a hearty welcome from Renate Biner, and she still personally looks after their welfare!

In addition to authentic Swiss and Valais specialties, delicacies from the wood grill or hot stone are served daily between 11:30 am and 5 pm. Of course the typical Valais wine is always available, too!

Whether you get there on foot, skis, snowboard, snowshoes or by bike the Bergrestaurant Simi is always a good choice!

Zermatt is one of the few car-free villages in Switzerland, thus guests arriving by car cannot drive right up to the hotel. However, you may drive as far as Täsch, where a multitude of parking garages and parking lots are available. You can choose between taking the train or a taxi for the remaining distance from Täsch to Zermatt.


Taking the train
Shuttle trains leave Täsch for Zermatt every 20 minutes; the journey takes 12 minutes. A practical system helps you transport your luggage easily to and on the train. The earliest trains leave Täsch and Zermatt at 6 am, the last ones at 11:35 pm.

Taking a taxi
Another possibility is taking a taxi from Täsch to the taxi stand located near the Zermatt train station.

Whether you opt for the train or a taxi, just let us know when you are going to arrive and we will gladly pick you up from the train station or the taxi stand at any time between 8 am and 8 pm. You may also call us from the hotel information panel at the Täsch train station.
