Hotel du Pillon, built in 1870, is the last of the traditional hotels of Les Diablerets. Recently re-opened after an extensive renovation, the listed hotel offers 20 rooms with a charming ambiance in exceptional surroundings.

The Hotel du Pillon is blessed by having the most sunshine in the whole resort, as well as a wonderful view.

From June to October, you will be given a Free Access Card for selected activities.

The Hotel du Pillon is an old mountain hotel, but with recently renovated insulation. It keeps, however, its rustic charm with washbasins in the bedrooms and a sufficient number of comfortable shower booths on each floor. The parquet floors still squeak, but the ageing ceramic stove will keep you warm.

Enjoy the experience of finding yourself in another era. You might run into Stravinsky, D.H. Lawrence, Aldous Huxley and others artists who stayed here in the years 1917 to 1927.

The hotel offers 5 different room types, all with washbasin, running hot and cold water and bathrobes, including double rooms with balcony, double rooms without balcony, twin rooms, family rooms with 2 single beds and 2 bunk beds, and single rooms. Nearby the rooms there are comfortable shared bathrooms. There is a big TV with satellite reception in the lounge.

Typically alpine meals are available:
Gruyère-Vacherin cheese fondue, "raclette cheese" served with the famous dried meats, "tartiflette" with Reblochon cheese, smoked sausage from the canton of Vaud served with cabbage and potatoes, soufflé omelettes, mushroom dishes.

- self-service breakfast from 08:30 to 12:00. Late risers welcome.

The Hotel du Pillon is above the mountain train station "Les Bovets", the last stop before arriving at its terminus in Les Diablerets.

Situated above and just before arriving in the village, the hotel benefits from a maximum of sunshine, a panoramic view and the calm of a small hamlet of old chalets.

At a 12-minute walk and a 2-minute drive from Les Diablerets, you will find yourself surrounded by nature. It is an ideal departure point for hikers.

During winter it is compulsory to use snow chains on your car!
The hotel is not liable for problems caused by the road condition.

The hotel is located 1.5 km from the ski lifts. Please note that there is no shuttle bus or public transportation available! Therefore the hotel suggests to either bring your own car or rent a car for your convenience.
