Lenk-Simmental, a hiker's and families' paradise in the Bernese Oberland, with its snug chalets and the Wildstrubel Massif in the background forms probably the most beautiful valley end in the Alps.

Lenk in summer:
Over 600 km of signposted hiking trails and 250 km of bike routes run through untouched countryside from the plain at the bottom of the valley all the way up to the mountains offering fabulous panoramic views of the Simmental's countless peaks.

Lenk in winter:
The Adelboden-Lenk ski region with its 58 ski lifts and a 185-kilometre piste network is one of the biggest winter destinations in Switzerland. Surrounded by an attractive mountainscape, winter visitors from December until April find everything they could wish for - from wide carving pistes and snowboard parks to challenging downhill slopes and high-altitude cross-country skiing trails.

By train:
- Comfortably via Bern-Spiez-Zweisimmen or
- by the MOB train via Montreux-Zweisimmen to Lenk-Simmental.
