Jugendstilhotel Paxmontana serves a buffet breakfast in the dining room, and offers an à-la-carte lunch in the Restaurant Veranda and dinner in the Restaurant Veranda or in the dinning room.

A half-board option is available for a minimum stay of 2 nights, at an additional cost, and can be paid directly at the hotel. The menu offers a choice of delicious specialities from Switzerland and the Obwalden region.

The unique, 47 metre long Restaurant Veranda with its glass façade looks out across the spectacular Sameraatal and Glaubenberg. The cool terrazzo flooring, wood panelled walls painted yellow to recreate the style of the Neo-Renaissance, decorated with Impressionist-style canvas paintings and the Art Nouveau style lamps with their discreet lighting, all combine to create a special ambience in this room.

The original dining room has a beech wood parquet flooring laid in a herringbone pattern, edged with dark walnut and cherry wood. The glass façade birings warmth and light into the room, as well as opening up a fantastic view over the greenery of the surrounding Buchenallee.

Right in the geografical centre of Switzerland, between Lucerne and Interlaken. From Lucerne take the highway A2, change at Hergiswil to A8 direction Interlaken, exit Sachseln. In Sachseln turn left to Flüeli-Ranft.

Driving by car to Flüeli-Ranft

Geneva - Lucerne:
- Highway Geneva - Lausanne-Bern A1
- Bern direction Lucerne (Zürich) A1
- Härkingen exit A1 and change to A2 direction Lucerne

Passing Lucerne:
- Always stay on Highway A2 direction Mount Gotthard.
- Pass exit signs Lucerne.
- Drive through 3 tunnels.
- Approximately 5 km after Lucerne stay on the right side of the highway.
- Take the exit A8 on your right: direction Sarnen/Interlaken.
- Drive 10 km, take the Exit Sarnen Süd / Sachseln.
- Drive into Sachseln.
- In the centre of the village Sachseln turn left in the direction of Flüeli-Ranft.
- Continue for around 7 minutes up to Flüeli-Ranft
- In the centre of the village Flüeli-Ranft turn left - you will see the hotel.
- Drive through the Pergola to the main entrance for unloading and use the free parking in the back of the hotel.
