We offer 38 rooms on 3 levels. All rooms are en suite and equipped with all common facilities. All rooms are non-smoking rooms.

With a bistro, a pizzeria, 2 dining rooms and a sun terrace with a beautiful view of the historic village of Blatten, the Blattnerhof offers something for everyone. All dining rooms are non-smoking.
Our varied cuisine offers local specialities (cheese dishes, Rösti, lamb meat), Italian dishes and international cuisine. The wine list offers a large selection of local and Italian wines.
There is also a special children's menu, and high chairs are available.
In summer, our restaurants are closed on Mondays. There are 2 other restaurants in Blatten.

Area information
Blatten is located on the foot of the 23 km long Aletsch glacier, the longest glacier of Europe. It is the ideal base for skiing, hiking and exploring the Unesco world heritage mountains Jungfrau/Aletsch/Bietschhorn or go on a ride on the glacier express. Zermatt, Chamonix, Montreux and Stresa are ideal destinations for day trips.
Travel information
The Valais is situated in the south of Switzerland and borders on Italy and France. From Brig, the centre of the German-speaking upper part of the Valais, over Naters, it's only 8 km (approximately 15 minutes) until Blatten.
Public transport: Post office motor-buses connect Blatten with the train station in Brig (every hour between 07:00-19:00). The post office bus-stop in Blatten is situated directly in front of the hotel.
