The Kursaal Bern is an internationally-acclaimed centre for congresses, banquets, entertainment and cuisine. The all-in-one property includes the Hotel Allegro, Wellness and Fitness centre, 23 Conference rooms for up to 1400 people, 3 restaurants, 2 bars, Grand Casino, park-house and a business centre. Currently there is extension work being carried out on our new multi-storey car park.

Food & beverage

Enjoy the different and characteristic ambiance in the hotel's 3 restaurants. The 4 terraces are definitely the place to be on warm and sunny days.

The restaurant Meridiano is open Tuesday to Saturday from 11:30 to 14:30 and from 18:00 to 23:30. On Saturdays the restaurant is open till midnight. Closed on Sunday and Monday.

'Yu' 'Modern Chinese Cuisine is open Tuesday to Friday: 11:30 to 14:00 and 18:00 to 22:30 and on Saturdays 18:00 to 22:30. Closed on Sunday and Monday.

'Giardino' Italian/Piemont cuisine open 7 days per week.

Allegretto 'International and Swiss highlights' is open 7 days a week from 06:30 to 14:30 and from 17:30 to 00:30.

Area information

Very convenient location; 2 km from highway Exit Bern-Wankdorf, 20 km to Bern-Belp Airport, 5 minutes from Main Train Station (with Tram No.9),
with half-hourly connections to Zürich Airport. Tram stop directly in front of the hotel.

Travel information

Highway Exit Bern-Wankdorf, first traffic light straight direction Centre. Second traffic light (Guisanplatz) straight until next big crossing, turn right into Viktoriastrasse, continue straight till Viktoriaplatz, turn left, before Kornhaus Bridge turn right, follow directions to Hotel Allegro.

Cancellation Policy:		Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults are charged CHF 50 per night per person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
