Hotel Des Alpes

The Hotel Des Alpes is one of the oldest hotels in Airolo and is located in the town centre, only a few steps from the railway station.

Completely renovated in December 2002, the hotel offers a warm welcome to its guests. It is an excellent starting point to discover all the attractions of the surrounding region. Ticino's most important ski resort, Airolo offers very nice scenery and many sports and leisure opportunities in summer as well as in winter. The town is an ideal place to spend unforgettable holidays throughout the whole year.

The Hotel Des Alpes also thinks of its smaller guests. To offer them a great stay, there is a playing area which allows the children to have a good time while their parents can pass a quiet evening. There is also a very comfortable reading room, with a warming fireplace and a touch of romance.

Breakfast buffet is served from 07:00 to 10:00.

The Restaurant Des Alpes offers excellent pizza, typical regional dishes and a wide choice of wines. You can also taste dishes from Sardinia, such as seafood and home-made pasta. The spacious restaurant has 4 rooms. There is space for 100 people in the banquet room, which is the ideal place for your business meal, weddings and other meetings. Other smaller rooms guarantee a very romantic atmosphere.

The hotel is situated in the centre of Airolo, only a few metres from the train station, making it easily reachable.

Airolo is located in the heart of the Alps, on 1,150 metres above sea level. Located at the intersection of the St. Gotthard and Nufenen Pass roads, Airolo can be easily reached by train or by the A2 motorway.
