Room information
Hostel rooms for 2 have a queensize bed of great comfort. Rooms for more than 2 have roll away-sparebeds for the other guests.
Twin beds instead of double beds available at a surcharge.
NB that Twin Room has private bathroom ensuite but other rooms have shared toilets and shared showers.
Dorm rooms have roll-away spare beds,maximum 4 guests in same dorm.
Dorm beds with hotel comfort available at a surcharge.
The hostel guest must bring bedlinen; sheets, duvet cover, pillow cover and towels. The bed must be made up at check in, will be inspected. Sleeping bags are not allowed.
Bedlinen can be rented at a surcharge.
Microwave facilities only.

Hostel guests preparing their own breakfast are welcome to use dining room and kitchenette 07 - 8.30 and 10.30 - 11.30.
The dining room and kitchenette and terrace tables are available for catered or microwaved meals 12 - 22.
There is an excellent restaurant at 200 yards distance open all year and during May-Sept several restaurants and cafe´s within a mile. Helsingborg prouds itself having the most outdoor eating in Sweden and some of the leading restaurants in Sweden. We have bargain deals with Gastro, 2008 ranked the 9th best food in Sweden and won the "most worth a visit" award!

Area information
Just outside our garden you can bathe in the sea, take a pony trek, jog or simply sight see along the large nature reserve’s long paths.
Half a mile walk south along the beach you will find a marina, passing lots of nice bars and restaurants on your walk, or head north half a mile along the scenic beech forest walk to the Royal Summer Castle and Gardens.
Ferries to Denmark leave 3 times an hour and the crossing takes only 20 minutes.
The area is renowned for pottery, crafts and many concerts of various kinds as well as its gastronomic status. Do some deep sea fishing from the quay in the 40 yards deep water. There are 5 golf courses in the city area.

By Car:
- Take the E4 and exit for Helsingborg, North.
- Follow the road for centrum (centre).
- The road ends at a T-junction with the theatre in front of you. Turn right for Sofiero.
- Continue for Drottninggatan, along the coast. The street bends under a railway bridge, and you will see the Pire, pictured above, at the far end.
- Pass the beach restaurant, Pålsjö Krog, and the bus stop. The guest house is 100 yards away (Drottningg 216 A).
Alternatively, take the E4 and exit Helsingborg, South.
- Follow signs for centrum. The road changes it's name to Drottninggatan at the City Hall.
- Continue as above.
From the ferry port:
- Follow signs for centrum and continue on to Drottninggatan.
- Continue as above.
By ferry/train/bus station Knutpunkten
NB! free ride if you show a valid train ticket.
- Cross the street to the bus stop and take the number 219 bus heading north for Domsten.
- After 10 minutes, get off at bus stop "Dag Hammarsköld väg". (The name will appear digitally on the bus. When it does, press the bell to stop.) This is stop no 8 after you entered the bus.
- Walk 100 yards north towards a big blue sign that says Sundets Pärla B&B.

Please note that check-in time is between 15:00-18:00. Arrivals later or earlier than this need to be arranged with the hostel and will be charged an additional cost.
