The traditional Hotel Diplomat Åregården is situated in the heart of Åre and offers a genuine and international alpine atmosphere.

Located opposite Åre's main square, Diplomat offers a picturesque setting with breathtaking mountain and lake views. The mountain railway is located here and the cable-car lift transports guests to the top of the 1420m high Åreskutan top.

The 100 pistes and 40 lifts at Åre offer some of the best skiing in Sweden, while dogsledding, rafting and hiking tours can also be arranged.

Indoors Hotel Diplomat's guests will enjoy the library where the walls are covered with turn-of-the-century paintings. Here a wide variety of games, books and magazines are available.

The interior design of the modern guest rooms reflect the traditional, warm style of the Jämtland region and many details from the building's early 1900s origins have been preserved. Rooms located in the older part of Åregården enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains and Lake Åresjön.
