This spectacularly elegant setting is an ideal base from which to explore Åre and its many attractions. The hotel was designed in a contemporary lodge style by the renowned American architect Peter Bohlin, who among other things designed the Microsoft Mansion for Bill Gates.
Through the Copperhill Express lift, hotel guests have immediate access to Åre's numerous prepared slopes. This is the largest ski area in Northern Europe. At Copperhill's Ski Shop guests can rent skis and book ski lessons.
Copperhill Mountain Lodge provides activities for younger guests and also offers child minding services, which allows parents to enjoy the numerous bars, night clubs and restaurants in Åre.
The Lodge provides a free ski bus within Åre. The surroundings provide perfect conditions for many exciting activities, including hunting and fishing.
Copperhill's Sami-inspired spa received first prize in the European Hotel Design Awards 2009. It has indoor and outdoor pools, hot springs and saunas, all with panoramic mountain views.
