15 minutes away from Malaga Airport , 20 minutes away from Malaga and Marbella, situated in the mountains at an altitude of 425m and just 4km away from the sea. As well as mountains and sea there is much to do and visit.
Escudo de Míjas Fortress walls- Remaining walls of the fortress that protected the village. The gardens have been designed to have flowers all year round and the view point is the prettiest and most spectacular of the coast.
Shrine of the Calvario –situated on the side of the mountain, you pass through thick woodland which makes it a popular for walks. The shrine only opens at Easter, but its worth just to see the spectacular view of the coast and Mediterranean Sea.

By car:
- Coming into the village, pass the BP petrol station on your left driving on until the road splits in two
- take the road bearing round to the right, crossing the village through Málaga Street, ending up in Constitución Square
- once you are in Constitución Square, look for the stairs just opposite the restaurant El Mirlo Blanco, we are at the end of the stairs, in Pasaje de los Pescadores Street.
