Area information

Menorca was under British rule for most of the 18th century, and Maó still conserves the stamp of British colonial rule in its streets and buildings, for example the sash windows of some houses or the ruins of the old Royal British Naval Hospital. The historical centre of town is well worth a visit, you can also go down to the beautiful harbour and enjoy its many restaurants and bars.
Located in front of Maó harbour, the hotel is also quite near Menorca's historic and shopping centre
