Hotel information

Take your time and enjoy a leisurely game of golf at the “Campo Costa Ballena Club de Golf” golf club just opposite the hotel. Designed by José María Olazábal and located by the sea. A magnificent course dotted with holes, some aligned parallel to the sea and others protected by strategically placed bunkers and lakes – and with excellent views over the Atlantic. The course has 27 par-72 competition holes, plus 9 par-3 practice holes.

It is both demanding for the lowest handicaps and kinder on less accomplished players. There is also a 350-metre practice course on which 120 golfers can all play at once. And it is all highly recommendable for golf enthusiasts coming to spend a few days of peace and quiet, since magnificent views over the golf course and the sea can be enjoyed from the rooms in our hotel.

The hotel’s Costaballena Lobby Snack Bar is open from 11:00 until 01:00 from Sunday to Thursday and from 11:00 until 02:00 on Friday and Saturday and serves snacks from 12:00 until 23:00.

Shorts and bathing suits are not allowed in the restaurant or bar area.

Area information

The hotel is situated in the Bay of Cadiz, in a province of the same name in southern Spain. It is 40 minutes from Jerez Airport, 10 minutes from the provincial capital. The hotel is also 7 km from the Port of Cadiz and 5 km from San Fernando beach.

By Car:
From Jerez Airport:
-Take the motorway towards Cádiz(NA-4), take exit 23 for Puerto de Santa Maria.
-You will join the A-491 road, carry on straight until the turn off for Rota.
-Go straight ahead until you find the first entrance to Costa Ballena, situated on your right. You will find the hotel on Reina Sofia Avenue.

From Seville Airport (San Pablo):
-Take the SE-30 road towards Cádiz and finally you will join the NA-4.
-Continue straight for Jerez de la Frontera until you are on the NA-4 road for Cadiz (continue with above directions from Jerez Airport).
