Tamaragua, in La Capellania, is a newly developed holiday village that lies inland behind the magnificent sand dunes of the Grandes Playas de Corralejo. Make the short journey to the beaches for fabulous views and refreshing Atlantic waters.

The Villas del Sol have been designed in a traditional Canary-Island style with all the facilities and amenities needed for a short or long term stay. Enjoy off-street parking and a small private pool with a sunbathing area. Prepare a barbecue among your friends or family and then dine together on the deckchairs and under the parasols.

Each villa has its own private freshwater swimming pool with a small terrace around the swimming pool for sunbathing, with sun loungers and parasols. Each villa also has a barbecue and a small garden area.

The villas are cleaned and the towels are changed every 4 days and the bed linen is changed every 8 days.

Each villa has a spacious living area with a dining area with seating for up to 4/5 people. The living area leads out onto a large patio with a pool, a small garden area, garden furniture and a space for barbecues.

The villas have 2 bedrooms and the maximum occupancy is 4 people plus one small child in a cot. There is also a 2-bedroom villa with an extra bed and the maximum occupancy of this villa is 4 adults, plus one child (aged 2-12 years) on the sofa bed and one small child in a cot.

Each villa has a private bathroom with a bath.

Every villa also has a separate, fully-equipped kitchen with a 4-ring ceramic hob, an electric coffee maker and kettle, a toaster, a microwave, a washing machine and a refrigerator.

The villas have a TV, DVD player, a mini audio system, an iron and an ironing board.

There is also a separate utility room with a washing machine and ironing facilities.

On site facilities such as a supermarket and cinema (Spanish) are within walking distance. However a car is recommended in order to reach the most beautiful places on this island.

A 5 minute drive will take you to the Cueva del Llano, a cave that is unique among the lava pipes of the Canaries. It is a special example, as it provides information about the general erosion of Fuerteventura, and has an abundance of animal fossils trapped in its sediments. This visitor’s centre shows almost 400 metres of accessible cave, constructed from a volcanic pipe of considerable dimensions, and is accessed via a large jameo (part of the volcanic cave with a collapsed roof). The cave is a million years old, and is the oldest in all the Canary Islands.

By Bus:
Take the number 1 Tiadhe bus to Puerto del Rosario. From Puerto del Rosario, take the number 6 bus to Corralejo and then change on to the number 8 bus for La Capellanía.

By Car:
- When you reach the roundabout at the airport’s exit, follow signs for the FV-2.
- Turn right merging with the FV-2 and, a little further on, turn off to the right following the signs for Antigua, La Oliva and Corralejo.
- Continue following the signs for La Oliva.
- When you see signs for Corralejo, follow them.
- When you reach the roundabout close to Urbanización Parque Holandés continue straight on.
- A little further on you will enter the Parque Natural de las Dunas.
- As you approach Corralejo, turn left at the first roundabout and then follow the signs indicating La Oliva.
- Continue on the FV-101. After five minutes, you will see a village on the right side of the road. At the sign for La Capellania, turn right. You will find the Villas Del Sol in the third street (Calle Cardón) on the right-hand side, after the roundabout.
