The surrounding area is filled with restaurants, many of which open onto open-air terraces. Nearby you can also enjoy a visit to the Roman spa town of Baetulo (guided tours begin from the centre of Badalona). The town is noted for its sports facilities, and you will find a number of swimming pools and beach volleyball courts on and around the beach. It is also possible to visit the nearby Anis de Mono factory (booking required).
