Hacienda el Santiscal

Hacienda El Santiscal is located 200 metres from the Arcos Reservoir, in Cádiz province. It is a converted 15th-century manor house offering free Wi-Fi and a garden with a pool.

Many of El Santiscal’s elegant rooms retain original features such as earthenware tiles and wooden beams. They are air-conditioned and contain a flat-screen TV and a hairdryer.

The Hacienda’s restaurant serves Andalusian food with Mediterranean influences. It also uses much home-grown produce.

Staff at the hotel’s reception can help organise trips such as horse riding, wine tasting visits and discounts on green fees at nearby golf courses.

Arcos Garden Golf Course is just 15 minutes’ drive from the Hacienda. The town of Arcos de la Frontera, 6 km away, offers charming Andalusian architecture and views over the valley.

This hotel is a classical Andalusian country house with a whitewashed façade, a grand portal and a peaceful and cool central courtyard. Each room is individually decorated so as to create a peaceful atmosphere: with tasteful fabrics, lovely old beds and terracota floors.

The hotel only has a few rooms and therefore peace and tranquility are assured. The hotel personnel also offer an attentive and personal service. You can also enjoy a swim in the garden pool during the hot summer days. There are splendid views of the lakes, river side and open country fields.

The hotel boasts 7 Double Rooms, 3 Junior Suites and 2 Suites with a lounge and fireplace or private terrace. All the rooms have air conditioning and fully-equipped bathrooms equipped with hair dryers and welcome products.

The hotel occupies a protected 15th century historical building, in which all the rooms are unique and individual. Some of the rooms have ceilings featuring antique wooden beams, earthenware tile floors and traditional wooden furniture. Although traditional in style, all rooms are cosily decorated in fitting with the style of the house.

Continental-style and buffet breakfast are served in the restaurant.

A light lunch menu is also served on the terrace by the pool.

An à la carte menu for dinner with a set price for 3 courses can be served in the central courtyard in summer time with candle lights.

The hotel's restaurant is exclusively for residents and offers a wide selection of fine Andalusian-style dishes.

Guests are advised to reserve a table and choices at least an hour in advance for the dinner.
