Playatropical Hotel

L'hôtel Playatropical bénéficie d'une piscine extérieure donnant sur la baie d'El Palmar. Chacune de ses chambres offre une vue sur la mer depuis son balcon privé. Cet établissement est situé à seulement quelques pas de la plage.

La décoration est simple, avec un sol carrelé. Les chambres sont toutes équipées de la climatisation et d'une télévision.

Le restaurant buffet de l'hôtel Playatropical sert une variété de plats méditerranéens chauds et froids. Vous trouverez également un bar de piscine, un club de plage et un bar-salon où sont proposés des spectacles et de la musique en direct en soirée.

Vous pourrez profiter sur place d'un bain à remous, de tables de ping-pong et d'un parcours de minigolf. Vous disposerez aussi d'une aire de jeux pour enfants et d'un programme d'animations.

Le centre d'Aguadulce est situé à 2 km de l'hôtel Playatropical et le complexe voisin de La Garrofa se trouve à 10 minutes à pied. Almeria et son aéroport sont à 25 minutes en voiture de l'établissement.

The hotel has its own outdoor themed swimming pool with water slides, children’s pool and jacuzzi (over 16s only). This outdoor swimming pool is surrounded by an extensive terrace and sunbathing area with a snack bar (open during peak season). There is also the El Palmer swimming pool with water slides. Take advantage of the hotel’s impressive pool and poolside facilities with free pool towels and sun loungers.

Spend an afternoon in the sun enjoying the hotel’s large games area, where you can play giant chess, mini golf and many other games and activities. The hotel also boasts an extensive programme of daytime and evening entertainment for children and adults, with something for all ages.

Club Delfin is a daily activity and entertainment programme for children aged between 4 and 12 years, and there is a separate Teen Club for children aged 12-18. These clubs operate at weekends and throughout the summer, from 1 June to 30 September. A babysitting service is also available on request (surcharge). It is also possible to hire children’s buggies from the reception desk.

The hotel’s own on-site buffet restaurant, La Parra, offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. The daily buffet breakfast features a wide selection of fresh produce, with dishes prepared in the show kitchen. The lunch and dinner buffets consist of a variety of hot and cold dishes, including salads, appetisers, vegetables, meat and fish dishes.

The restaurant has a baby corner with complimentary facilities available for parents’ use. The baby corner has a microwave and a refrigerator for baby food. Other special dietary requirements can be catered for with advance notice.

Please note that gentlemen must wear long trousers in the restaurant.

The hotel’s food and beverage facilities also include Las Palmeras saloon bar, the poolside snack bar and the El Palmer Beach Club, which is located near the outdoor swimming pool and is only open during peak season.

The hotel lies 4 km from the village of Aguadulce, which features a marina for water sports during the day and a vibrant nightlife in the evening. The traditional fishing village of Roquetas is a little further at 9 km away, and there are 3 different golf courses within 16 km. The theme park of Oasys, which celebrates the Tabernas desert’s past as the setting for many Western movies, is 40 km from the hotel.

By Plane: the airport is 21 km from the hotel. By taxi: approximately a 20 minute trip.

By Bus:
Take the bus at the exit of the airport for Almería capital. Once you reach the Estación Intermodal, take the bus towards Aguadulce (departure every 30 minutes). Get off on the stop ‘del Palmer’, in front of the hotel.

By Car:
- Leave the airport taking the road Cañada-Aeropuerto towards Almería capital, taking the N-344, until you reach a roundabout by the Estación Intermodal.
- From there continue straight ahead (this is the Carretera de Ronda).
- Continue until you pass by a petrol station and, at the cross junction head towards Parque Nicolás Salmerón.
- Continue along the park Nicolás Salmerón, straight ahead through the roundabout and take the left lane to go into the Litoral road.
- 4 km further, after crossing the tunnel, you will find a driveway to the hotel clearly signed “Hotel Playa Tropical, Bahía de la Parra”, just before the tunnel.
