The charming old part of Radovljica was built at the top of a steep slope about 100 metres above the confluence of the Sava Dolinka and the Sava Bohinjka. Due to its sunny location, sub-alpine climate and healthy, dry air, Radovljica is the place for rest or for active holidays. There are plenty of nice walks in the surrounding countryside, especially along the banks of the Sava, through the forests and other unspoilt natural sights.
