Hotel Histrion

The Hotel Histrion is located next to the former monastery church that gives its name to the hotel complex.

Especially appealing are the Turkish and Finnish sauna with their picturesque decorations and outdoor cooling pool. There is also a comfortable sunny terrace on which to relax and feel completely at ease.

Taverna Mediteran serves Italian cuisine offering a variety of pizzas and pastas. Tourist menus are available daily.

Restaurant Barka serves Mediterranean cuisine on the terrace next to the sea. Fish and seafood are prepared in many ways. This restaurant is open seasonally.

* PIRAN
The old seaport of Piran lies at the end of the Piran peninsula, which gradually narrows between the bays of Strunjan and Piran. The peninsula reaches Cape Madona, ending with the Šavrini hills. The town has preserved the medieval layout with narrow streets and compact houses, which rise in steps from the coastal lowland into the hills and give the whole area a typical Mediterranean look.

Today Portorož is a popular place either for work or vacation and entertainment. Many comfortable hotels are witness to that, with their modern pools, varied culinary proposal of restaurants, and the events attracting visitors from afar.
