The 4-star Grand Hotel Ocean in the centre of Maribor is located next to the central railway station, and it will impress you with discreet luxury and a pleasant atmosphere.

The hotel is symbolically connected with the railway for it is named after the first locomotive that arrived puffing through Maribor on 2 April 1846. A small parking area is on site and nearby there are parking places free of charge for the hotel guests. At breakfast we offer our guests a special, very healthy Aloa Drink. Maribor is famous for the 12th century Gothic cathedral and the Renaissance town hall. The skiing centre of Mariborsko Pohorje, situated on the outskirts of the city, hosts women's slalom and giant slalom races for the Alpine Skiing World Cup.
