Hotel Medno

This hotel is beautifully situated within a green forest in the vicinity of the Sava river, in an area called Medno, only 15 km from Brnik airport.

Despite such a privileged location amidst scenic natural surroundings with panoramic views of the countryside and the river, the hotel is strategically positioned near the motorway, the airport and the train station. All of the rooms are completely refurbished with modern conveniences such as internet access. The hotel also houses a conference hall for 80 people with all of the technical equipment needed, a restaurant which serves international cuisine and modern business rooms which were recently built in 2007. One third of the rooms are non-smoking.

In January 2008, the hotel opens a small spa centre with jacuzzi swimming pools, 2 saunas and massage amenities.

All rooms have en-suite TWC, SAT TV, telephone and hair driers. Guest can also use the laundry service.

The a la carte restaurant offers a variety of international dishes, fish dishes and typical Slovenian dishes. The menu changes according to the season. We also offer special business and daily menus, banquets and hot and cold buffets.

The main restaurant can accommodate 100 guests and has a dancing floor. Animation and live music can be organised for special occasions. A special room for smaller groups of 20 people is available. A variety of culinary delights are complemented by our excellent choice of wines.

Dinner: 19:00 - 23:00.

There are ski trails in the surrounding area in the winter time. Beside walking, cycling is also popular in the summer time.

With car from Ljubljana:
After driving approx. 3 km you'll come to Medno. Soon behind bus station (you'll see the motel's sign) turn left (picture, point 1) and after 200 m you'll arrive to Motel Medno (picture, point 2).

With car from Medvode:
After driving approx. 500 m you'll cross a railway and you'll already see Motel Medno above road. After a couple of hundred meters turn strong right (picture, point 1) and after 200 m you'll arrive to Motel Medno (picture, point 2).
