Celje is the third largest city in Slovenia. A characteristic Central European city, it is the regional center of Lower Styria and the administrative seat of the municipality of the same name. Celje is located under the Upper Celje Castle at the confluence of Savinja, Loznica, and Voglajna rivers in the lowest part of the Savinja Valley.
By investing in infrastructure, education and environment, Celje is becoming more and more attractive in the last few years - not only for its inhabitants, but also visitors. The City Center is of extreme importance in a governmental, administrative, cultural and tourist sense of the word.

Celje is situated on the juncture of the highway and the railway part of the 5th and 10th corridor, halfway between traffic intersection Ljubljana - Maribor or even at the connection of the three major Slovene traffic centers Koper, Ljubljana and Maribor, which places Celje into a truly favorable traffic and communicational position.

- From the motorway you take the second exit for Celje (direction Celje - Center, Krsko, Zidani Most, Lasko).
- Turn Left follow the direction Center and stay on the 'Mariborska cesta' till you pass the main bus station on the left and the main post office on the right
- Then at the main train station turn right (just before the pedestrian crossing) and after 50 meters you arrive at the Hotel Evropa.
