Hotel Kanin

Hotel Kanin is located just 100 metres from the Bovec centre in a quiet location, surrounded by a large garden. Behind the hotel are 4 tennis courts, children’s playground, bocca and beach volleyball facilities.

The hotel has 125 rooms with shower or bath/WC, hair dryer, telephone and CATV. Some rooms have a balcony. During the winter our guests are skiers, who enjoy skiing on the highest Slovenian ski resort Kanin (2200 metres), and in the summer hikers and cyclists and guests who adore pure nature and different water sports activities come here to relax.

Until 20 December 2008 all the rooms in the hotel will be renovated and a new wellness centre with Finnish and infrared sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, solarium, massage and a swimming pool will be added.

The hotel does not have any special facilities for disabled people.

All the rooms have a shower or bath, WC, telephone, and TV with satellite channels. Most rooms have a balcony on the south side of the hotel.

Our hotel is renowned for the tasteful food. It offers self-service breakfast and dinner as well as à la carte meals. On request we prepare a gala dinner or lunch and barbecue on the hotel terrace or near the river Soča.

The shortest way till Bovec from north Europe is highway Salzburg-Villach-Tarvisio and from Tarvisio regional road direction Predil Pass-Bovec.
For the arrivals from west, we suggest highway till Udine-south and than the first road to right direction Manzano-Cividale- Kobarid-Bovec.
The nearest airports: Ljubljana 110km,Trieste(I) 100km, Klagenfurt (A) 100 km.
The nearest bus station: 100 meters from hotel.

One pet allowed per room.

Important notice:
Due to renovation the swimming pool, the sauna, the fitness facilities, the hairdresser and the beauty parlour will be closed as of 1 September 2008.
As of 31 October 2008 the whole hotel will be closed until the 20 December, as then all the hotel rooms will be renovated.

A supplement for the New Year's Eve dinner is required for all hotel guests. The price is EUR 75 for adults and EUR 38 for children between 7 and 14.
