Apartments Bohinj Mavrica

Apartments Mavrica are situated in Bohinj on the verge of the idyllic village Stara Fužina, only a few minute walk from Lake Bohinj. The holiday apartments are located in the central part of Triglav National Park in the foothills of Triglav, the highest peak of Slovenia. The Apartments Mavrica are therefore a perfect starting point for mountain hiking and walking in the Julian Alps. In the summer the lake warms up to 25°c (77°f).

Bohinj apartments Mavrica are near the lake Bohinj, on the quiet, most beautiful and sunny part of vally Bohinj. The Mavrica (rainbow) apartments are on the hillside of the village, in the central part of the Triglav National Park.

Our house includes 5 apartments for 4 persons, one for two and one for 6 persons. On the ground floor is a clubroom with 40 seats where our guests can get to know each other, sit and have a drink, play party games, use the internet - in short, they can enjoy themselves.

Infra red, Finnish and Turkish steam saunas are also in the ground floor of our house.

Each apartment contains 2 bedrooms, a kitchen with a dining table, a shower,
toilet and a large balcony with a nice view over the lake Bohinj and over Julian Alps.

Satellite TV, telephone, wireless LAN internet access (for your own laptop) and free use of an internet computer are included.

In the kitchen are all of necessary kitchen utensils which you need to prepare food by yourself.

Our guests can prepare food for themselves in the apartments or can go to several restaurants near our house. They offer various food and some are especially known for good local food. However, the choice is satisfactory for everyone.

The vicinity of the Lake Bohinj is ideal for our guests; it only takes a few minutes to get there. Our speciality is canyoning - an unforgettable and exciting sport for everybody. We work also on hikes with guides into the mountains. You can rent a mountain bike or join an organised bike excursion.

In addition to these sports, we can also arrange the following: horse riding, rafting, speed-boating, kayaking and canoeing, tandem skydiving, rock climbing and fishing.

By Car:
- After 10 km on the motorway from Karavanke tunnel to Ljubljana (or 45 km from Ljubljana) your road branches off towards Bled.
- Drive along the main road passing Lake Bled and after 28 km you will reach Lake Bohinj.
- Before the lake turn right over the bridge passing the famous Church of St John (look for signs marked "Mavrica").
- After 1 km you will arrive in Stara Fužina.
- Turn left before a small chapel up the hill and drive straight ahead to Mavrica.
