Run by the Tripic family for over 20 years, this hotel is situated in the centre of a quiet, traditional village, opposite the wellness centre with heated pools.

Bohinjska Bistrica is located on the bus route between Bled and Bohinj and the hotel is only a few steps from a bus stop as well as from a train station. It offers wonderful views of the alpine surroundings, providing wonderful conditions for cycling, hiking and fishing. For the Aquapark Bohinj across the street with its heated swimming pools and a wellness centre hotel guests are entitled to a 10% discount.

Wireless and wired internet access is available free of charge as is a parking lot for cars and buses.

During the winter season your skiing equipment and in summer time your bikes or fishing equipment can be stored free of charge. Bicycles can also be rented at the hotel reception, where you can also buy fishing permits for lake Bohinj and for the Sava Bohinjka and Radovna rivers. If you need to hire a fishing guide or to rent fishing equipment, do not hesitate to contact us.

The hotel offers 10 double rooms, 7 family rooms and a total of 50 beds. Family rooms consists of 2 separate double rooms with a common bathroom. All rooms feature a balcony with garden furniture.

Unfortunately the hotel is not accessible for disabled guests.

2 indoor restaurants, a bar and a summer terrace provide for culinary diversity during your stay in our hotel. Friendly service and a large choice of delicious meals, accompanied by the best Slovenian wines selected by our sommelier await you in an inviting atmosphere. We also recommend you to taste the Bohinj national dishes.

The indoor restaurants with 120 seats are also suitable for celebrating various events, like anniversaries or weddings. If you wish we can arrange life music (Bohinj folklore or a DJ).

Bohinj is one of the most picturesque valleys in the heart of the Julian Alps, situated in the Triglav National Park. High mountains and green forests, scenic pastures and grasslands, cultural and historical monuments and hospitable villages can be found in this region.

Tranquil or adventurous outings on the Bohinj rivers and the lake are becoming increasingly interesting to tourists.

Alpine skiing
The Bohinj valley's 3 ski centres are situated in Kobla (450 metres from our hotel), in Vogel (9km) and in Soriška planina (12km).

Cross-country skiing
For cross-country skiers there is a FIS course available from Bohinjska Bistrica up to the village of Polje. There are also groomed cross-country trails at Ribcev Laz and Stara Fužina and in all the ski centres.
