Situated 300 meters from the lake, 500 metres from the centre and close to the park and the castle, this hotel offers a friendly atmosphere.

It has undergone partial refurbishment in 2006 and is suitable for guests who wish to spend peaceful and relaxing holidays. Choose from comfortably furnished rooms (48 of them recently renovated) make use of the inviting meeting room and experience culinary delights. The owners of the hotel also run the Bled Castle Restaurant. In the company of the castle owner you can explore the hidden corners of the castle corners and at the same time enjoy culinary specialities ("dine around"). We offer traditional Slovenian dishes prepared in a modern way. Hotel Astoria is the training centre for students of the Vocational College for Catering and Tourism in Bled.

The bar is open all days from 07:00 to 23:00. In a leisurely romantic atmosphere, the bar offers a wide variety of beverages. The bar´s terrace is a popular meeting place in summer, whether for an evening rest or a picnic.

The restaurant accommodates up to 200 guests and tables can be arranged to fit all kinds of wishes for various events. When preparing traditional dishes or specialities, modern dietary trends are always taken into account. Terrace picnics, gala candlelight dinners, piano evenings and Slovenian evenings with traditional Slovenian dishes, accompanied by Slovenian folk music, can also be arranged.

Lovely pathways and scenic routes lead from the Hotel to the Castle beach, located under a high cliff with the Bled castle above, proudly rising toward the sky. There is plenty of sporting activities available nearby, such as swimming, running, fitness, tennis, golf, rowing, horse-riding, rafting, roller blading, ice-skating, skiing, etc. Not far away is also the commercial center with its shops and bars.

Entering the town Bled you must proceed till the first and only traffic lights in Bled, there you go right and follow the road (500 m) to the cross road in the shape of the letter Y , take the right shoulder and after 20 m on the right side of the road stands our hotel. (When the road slightly rises, the Hotel Astoria emerges on your right, amid green trees and welcomes you with its large parking lot.)
