Star Rooms Hotel is surrounded by a park and 19th-century elegant buildings. It is set in the centre of Ploiesti and houses a pub and terrace serving traditional Romanian and international cuisine.

Located in the south-eastern part of Romania, 60 km from the capital Bucharest, Ploiesti is a vibrant city due to its fast-growing economy. Already at the beginning of the last century oil was found in this region and more than 20 oil refineries were established in the city. After the collapse of the communist regime all the big investors came back to Romania and to Ploiesti and the city again started booming.

But not only the economy is attracting people to the city. Ploiesti looks back upon a long and fascinating history. A museum is close to the hotel and also culture is important for its 250.000 inhabitants with a theatre and the philharmonic hall also located in close vicinity.
