This hotel and restaurant opened in spring 2007 in a picturesque setting 18 km from Sibiu and near the foothills of the Cindrel Mountains and the resort of Paltinis.

The result of a proud local family’s hard work, the hotel has 15 differently structured rooms fitted with modern facilities including relaxing leather rocking chairs. Rooms overlook rural scenes, hills, mountains, forest and wild vegetation.

The hotel is positioned close to the main road linking Sibiu and Timisoara and very close to Sibiu International Airport and the West Industrial Area.

Breakfast is served from 07:00 to 10:00, lunch from 12:00 to 15:00, and dinner from 18:30 to 20:30.

Enjoy hikes in the surroundings, exploring the hills around the hotel. See the country installations still in use today: the oil press and cloth milling machine. There are 2 churches in the community, the smaller one being founded in 202.

Other recommended trips are to the Stained Glass Icons Museum of Sibiel (and other museums in Sibiu), Sibiu Zoo, the fortresses in Cristian and Biertan, Ocna Sibiului resort (with salt lakes) and Craciuneasa Chalet on the Raul Mare River.

Visit Cibin Dam, 3 km away from the village, the Cindrel Mountains (70 m high and 330 m wide), and Cibin's Gorges on the Raul Mare River.

By Car
Access to and from the city is fast and easy; it only takes about 20 minutes in summer or winter. The road has been modernised and it branches from DN 1 (E 15A).
From Sibiu:
- Take the exit to Sebes.
- In the first village, Cristian, make a left turn to Orlat.
- In Orlat, make a left to Gura Raului.
- In Gura Raului village you make a right turn at the wooden gate (you can see a sign), then you have reached your destination.
