The Lake Resort

Located just 300 metres from Falésia Beach, this luxurious resort offers a natural, sandy beach pool and a floating restaurant. The rooms have balconies with stunning views of the surroundings.

Guests of the Lake Resort can reach their accommodations through the lobby, which is covered by a 14-metre, Moorish-style dome. The rooms are spacious and have sliding doors that lead to the private bathrooms.

Lake Resort offers 3 restaurants, 2 bars and a library full of books and magazines. While guests relax in the spa area, children will be entertained for hours with the activities of the Koala Kids Club.

After a dip in one of the 3 pools, guests can enjoy Oriental cuisine at the Fusion restaurant or have fresh fish in the garden setting of the Marenostrum restaurant. The Pool Bar and ZanziBar provide refreshing beverages.

The Lake Resort Hotel is situated a 20-minute drive from Albufeira. A shuttle service to the Vilamoura golf courses is available upon request.

Inspiration has come from all over the world. The main Lobby is covered by a 14-metre Moorish-style dome. This circular entrance is neoclassical: the floor and giant columns are in stone and the long, light curtains soften the atmosphere and enhance contrasts, waving gently in the wind or hanging modestly in the calm. Next to the Lobby, the Gallery is a stunning area with a series of arches which, when seen from outside, recall a Roman aqueduct.

Every notable house has a library and this one is no exception. The Lusíadas library, decorated in a discreet style, with inviting armchairs, books about Portugal and the world and a good selection of current magazines. At Boutique da Terra, choose a souvenir or a special gift.

The rooms reflect the same philosophy as the hotel, simplicity combined with luxury characterising the whole resort. The bathrooms are harmonious extensions of the bedrooms, separated only by sliding doors. At 2 minutes of distance the Cerro da Vila Museum to discover the legacy of the Roman period and the History of Portugal.

Many different water sports are offered. At the marina you can choose boat trips or fishing. Vilamoura is known for its water sports: parasailing, kite surfing, scuba diving, the choice is yours.
Several events are held in Vilamoura throughout the year, such as the Boat Show, Regattas, Show Jumping events, among others.
Other infrastructures available in Vilamoura include bowling, a tennis club, sports center and a riding school.

When you leave the airport, follow signs for Portimão/Loulé. After approx. 4 kms you will come to a junction of the motorway A 22 (IP1). Follow signs for Portimão/Lisboa. Leave the A22 at the exit marked Boliqueime/Vilamoura and follow signs for Vilamoura. When you reach Vilamoura, continue along Avenida Eng.º João Meireles and Avenida Vilamoura XXI until you see a sign for Praia da Falésia (before the statue roundabout), Avenida Cerro da Vila, turn right. Along this road the resort is on your left hand side.

LISBON – THE LAKE RESORT
When you leave the A2 that links Lisbon and the Algarve, you will see the A22 motorway. Follow signs for Faro/Espanha. Leave the A22 at the exit for Boliqueime/Vilamoura and follow signs for Vilamoura. At the traffic lights in front of Parque das Laranjeiras, turn right into Vilamoura. Continue along Avenida Eng.º João Meireles and Avenida Vilamoura XXI until you see a sign for Praia da Falésia (before the statue roundabout), Avenida Cerro da Vila, turn right. Along this road the resort is on your left hand side.

SPAIN - THE LAKE RESORT
Follow the A22 motorway (Via do Infante) towards Faro/Lisboa. Leave the A22 at the Boliqueime/Vilamoura exit and follow signs for Vilamoura. At the traffic lights in front of Parque das Laranjeiras, turn right into Vilamoura. Continue along Avenida Eng.º João Meireles and Avenida Vilamoura XXI until you see a sign for Praia da Falésia (before the statue roundabout), Avenida Cerro da Vila, turn right. Along this road the resort is on your left hand side.

Please note that the Marenostrum fish restaurant and the pool bar are closed in the winter season.

The guests who do not stay the full length of their reservation after check-in will be charged with the total amount of the reservation.
